FreeFunFiles Editor's Review of MediaMonkey. We have seen our share of music managers over the years, with only a select few at the top, and trust us MediaMonkey is one of those. With a slick intuitive interface and a robust set of music management tools, MediaMonkey will not disappoint. MediaMonkey does everything it says it can and best of all MediaMonkey is completely free.
MediaMonkey can manage a music library of up to 50,000 files. You can organize your music by genre, year, artist which is a pretty cool time saving feature. MediaMonkey supports all of the music file formats ranging from MP3 to CDA.
The player exceeded all of our expectations. Sure it plays CD's and the usual audio files like MP3, WMA and OGG but with the equalizer and DSP audio-effect plug-ins you can really go to town. You can also customize your MediaMonkey with skins, plug-ins and visualizations.
MediaMonkey offers many different Sync options including iPhones, iPods and most MP3 devices. Having painful memories of other programs Sync options, we really were blown away with MediaMonkey's Sync features that are amazingly seamless.
With MediaMonkey you can record CD's right to your hard drive. MediaMonkey also has a CD ripper and a built-in audio file converter, that covers most formats in the free version. You can tag music in MediaMonkey using the built in MP3 tag editor which supports ID3v1 and ID3v2.
Need to organize or rename your files? MediaMonkey has an auto-organizer that can organize your music files by artist, track title or album. Need to burn an audio CD? Yep, MediaMonkey can do that! How about MP3 CD's or DVD's? MediaMonkey has you covered here too!
Want to see what your music has been missing? Download MediaMonkey today and experience it for yourself, see just how impressive this free music manager is.
