Due to the nature of the calibration this can not be quite as accurate as a professional hearing test at an ear clinic, but in any case it gives a very good indication if there is a hearing problem or not and how severe it might be. The accuracy is within 10-15 dB of the true hearing level, compared to around 5dB of a professional test. This is over a total measurable hearing range of 70dB.€
