Lyrics Editor is a program that allows you to type, edit and synchronize lyrics to any supported media file. It can also import lyrics from most common Karaoke media files. Lyrics can then be saved in KSF (Karaoke Sync File) format for playback in Mimic Audition.
Lyrics Editor produces KMF (Karaoke Media File with KSF) and KSF (Karaoke Sync File) files. KSF files contain timing and text data for playback of lyrics plus commands to allow control of appearance, fonts, add pictures etc. KMF files contain both audio (MP3 or WMA) and the lyrics (compressed CDG or KSF) in one file. Lyrics editor supports KMF files with MP3+KSF content only. Future plugins such as the KSF to CD+G BIN Convertor will allow users to convert the text based KSF to CD+G BIN files (coming soon).
