Access2PostgreSQL Sync is a data synchronization tool that presents bidirectional conversion (MS Access - PostgreSQL) unlike other similar data migration tools, which commonly perform only one-way conversion.
In case you consider moving to PostgreSQL after you convert your data from MS Access to PostgreSQL server you can face the necessity to bring the data back to your Access base (e.g. it was modified by users of your PostgreSQL database through Web Interface and you want to add this modified data to the MS Access database).
In case you dont want to convert all tables from a database, you can customize the conversion process and specify only those objects you would like to convert. After configuring your settings you can save them into session file. Sessions support allows you to restore all your settings afterwards.
You can organize application work using Interactive (GUI) mode as well as work through command line. You have an opportunity to run the conversion process un-attended on a user defined schedule. Built-in scheduler will launch Access2PostgreSQL program without user input at a time that is most convenient for you. |
