MailSite SE Description |
|
| |
MailSite SE is easy to install and operate. It has been designed with the nonprofessional administrator in mind. It does not require extensive training or advanced certification in order to install and operate. This means that you don't need to employ a full time administrator just to run your email system.
MailSite SE can be configured with spam and virus protection that block unwanted messages and infected files at the MailSite server, before they can get to users’ desktops. This is the most effective and efficient way of protecting end users. All incoming messages are automatically scanned before they are accepted for delivery. Spam is scored and either blocked or passed to end users’ personalized filters, while infected messages are immediately blocked. Both spam and virus definition files are auto-matically updated.
SECURITY MailSite SE includes all of the security tools required to stop attacks. In addition to the spam and virus filters, these tools include: directory harvest attack protection (DHAP), denial of service protection, authenticated SMTP, valida-tion of address against the real-time blacklist, and rejection of messages by domain, IP address, or email address. These defenses are built in and automatic, saving the administrator time and effort.
COMPATIBILITY MailSite SE works with all major email clients such as Outlook, Outlook Express, Eudora, and Netscape. This is because MailSite SE is a stan-dards based mail server and is compatible with all standards based mail clients (POP3, IMAP4).
ACCESS With MailSite Express and MailSite Pocket built-in, MailSite SE makes it possible for you to access your email from any web browser or WAP browser. No longer do you need to use a different email account when working from your home office or customer site. |
