Task-O-Matic Version 5 has now been released! With an all NEW sidebar mode! You can now set Task-O-Matic to dock to the right side of your screen, where it will scroll out of sight except for a small tab whenever you are not using it. Move your mouse over the tab, and instantly Task-O-Matic will pop out ready for you to work in your lists.
Version 5 now supports mouse wheel navigation, where you can scroll through your lists using just the mouse wheel!
Task-O-Matic is versatile task list management software that is useful on a daily basis. Task-O-Matic can manage all sorts of lists, it could be a task list, a To Do list, Shopping List or even a Christmas wish list! Task-O-Matic allows you to prioritise the items on your list, and will automatically sort your list according to the priority of each item. It makes the addition of each list item easy and quick and uses a fully skinned graphically rich interface with a choice of skins. This software can bring a great deal of focus into your daily activities, encouraging you to detail tasks, and prioritise them against the other tasks you want or need to accomplish. Creating priority lists also helps you to remember things, achieve set goals, maintain hobbies, appointments and leads to achieving more.
Task-O-Matic also allows you to add date based list items. For instance, you might need to have a report done by a certain date. You can enter the task into Task-O-Matic with the date as the priority base. This means that as the date approaches the priority will continue to raise, therefore moving up your list of prioritised items. If the date is very close (you can set the number of days per level) the task will reach Extreme priority and start flashing, letting you know that the date is imminent. Move your mouse over the task or its priority rating and you will instantly see exactly when the date is set in the status bar.
With a host of convenient and intuitive features, Task-O-Matic is easy and enjoyable to use. For each item you can enter task information, and see the information of any item in your list by simply moving the mouse over it (a tool tip help will pop up containing your description), or click on the Show Task Information button to expand the list item to include the information box.
Each task item can have a file associated with it. This means, while reviewing your task list you can go directly to a file associated with a particular task. One task might be to finish a report, just click the Go To File Now button to open the report and start instantly!
