Visionary 7.1 implements a significant set of new features that enhance its capabilities as a litigation management and trial presentation tool. Below is a list of some of the major new features in this version.
Presentation Features
Instant pause of playback scripts.
Dual screen CourtViewer control provides off-screen control of annotations, image positions, and image loading.
Video Features
Volume and playback speed control.
Other video clips can be played in slow motion or frame-by-frame.
Back-to-back video clips now play with less latency.
Data Import/Export Features
Generic delimited ASCII import into Visionarys document database.
Load file export. You can now export image page and image document databases.
ASCII transcript export.
Document Database Features
Fully configurable document database. Create up to 255 fields of your own design.
Configurable document database view. You can select what fields to display and their order.
In addition, you can display different sets of fields for different data types.
Document database now supports look-up fields.
3rd Party Integration Features
iCONECT import. Users of iCONECT 3.5 and above may export data into Visionary.
PaperChasers. Searches from Paperchasers can be imported into Visionary.
Support for Summation .dii file import.
Automatically import search results from Concordance.
Printing Features
Four on a page mini transcript printing.
Printable word concordances.
Transcript clips may be bar-coded.
Search Features
Can search any field in the document database.
Query results now display faster.
Fact Management Features
Fact Database feature provides an easy tool for creating fact digests organized by date, fact weight, issues, people, and events.
Other New Features
Easy access to all issues associated with a loaded document or transcript
ImageViews allow users to see predefined image views, including annotations, whenever an image is displayed in CourtViewer. This functionality is similar to having an IssueBuilder for every page of every imaged document.
Tabs at the bottom of the main window make changing views easier.
Objection editing. You can now designate sections of synched transcripts that are automatically muted in presentation mode. To play everything between pages 100 and 120, except the 20 objections, you can create a single clip (instead of 20) and highlight the portions of the transcript that will be muted. |
