Case Manager is the case management tool for the rehabilitation and health industry. An easy to use computer program, Case Manager organises and streamlines your case information, billing and reports. Your administrative and documentation requirements are all combined into one central location, providing quick access to the information you need to run your business. Since 1994, Case Manager has been used by rehabilitation companies, doctors, nurse case managers, employer based rehabilitation coordinators, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, ergonomic consultants and hospitals in Australia and the United States.
Benefits
Speedy access to information. The intuitive case selector enables quick and easy access to case information. Feedback from customers indicates that they can locate client files in seconds which saves time and money. Case information is always available for viewing or reporting, even if someone else is currently modifying a case’s information.
Assist in providing procedures and standards. The system can help case managers follow a process and has been especially useful for new companies in providing a framework for new case managers. The use of standard templates in the documentation also assists in providing consistent standards for all outgoing correspondence.
Integrated with Microsoft Office. Case Manager provides a seamless interface with Microsoft Word for creating and referencing documentation. Case Manager uses DDE and OLE automation to integrate with Microsoft Word which enables case details from the database to be inserted into user defined standard templates. The ease of use of this feature greatly reduces the amount of word processing. A standard letter can be created and printed in seconds.
Integration with any accounting package. Because of the variety of systems that Case manager is used for (eg. Consulting work, WorkCover, Comcare, Medicare), it incorporates a flexible charging/billing module. Fee schedule and activity codes are configured by the user, and attached on a case by case basis. Activities can be billed using a time based fee schedule, a unit price override, or a flat fee. Once invoices have been generated, you can synchronise the information with your accounting package using the Case Manager Journal Entry facility.

Robust database system. The multi user version of Case Manager uses the Sybase SQL Anywhere database server. Sybase are one of the leading database suppliers for the Health Industry in the United States. No other product in this price range is offering such advanced technology.
Scalability. Based on true client/server technology, Case Manager is capable of scaling up to suit your growing organisation. If the number of users grows rapidly, you only need to upgrade one machine - the database server.
Data Security. Each user has their on security profile to access Case Manager. Access rights can be limited to read only, modify or full access. Access to certain tabs can also be limited (for example only allowing administration staff to access Accounts for Invoicing).
Price. From benchmarking other products with similar functionality our pricing is well below our competitors.
Open format for data analysis. The data entered into Case Manager is not locked away in a proprietary format but is available for analysis via many reporting tools (such as MS Access). |
