iOfficeV4 is the internationalized version of desknet's, which is developed by NEOJAPAN Inc. We have internationalized desknet's so that it could meet the needs of the international market.
iOfficeV4 provides many features which are required to use in various countries and regions. For instance, Multilingual User Interface, this feature allows workgroup members to use iOfficeV4's user interface with their native language (*1). Another notable feature is National Language Support. We have eliminated any assumptions or dependencies on language specific or cultural specific conventions from iOfficeV4's program modules so that iOfficeV4 can be used in various countries and regions.
As the result of the internationalization, for example, a user in a workgroup in Germany can use iOfficeV4 with English or Japanese user interfaces. And people in Asian countries which use double byte character codes can use English user interface to shared data in their native language. You can store and display shared data according to conventions in your country or region using any user interface language. (*2)
(*1) We have released English, German, Japanese and Chinese user interfaces. We are considering the user interface for other languages too.
(*2) Due to restriction of character code set, there is combination which has restriction in the character which can be inputted as a user interface language and data. |
