Game Play
In Ancient Ivory, five bones, or a subset are rolled up to three times, in an attempt to score the highest number of points for each of twelve categories. Points are scored for five-of-a-kind (an Ivory), large straight, small straight, four-of-a-kind, full house, sixes, fives, fours, threes, twos, ones and choice. Four game variations of Ancient Ivory are included: single- and double-column options are provided for both the five- and ten-bone games. Play alone, against one, two, or three other players, or, in the five-bone variations of Ancient Ivory, against a competitive computer opponent. A variety of midi music pieces are provided, and Ancient Ivory will loop one midi file, and you can add your own! Animation speed are easily set and saved for players preferences.
Preferences
Ancient Ivory displays and saves the top ten scores in each of the four game variations. Also, for the players convenience, the current variation last played, including players names, animation speed, music and sound effects options are saved automatically. |
