The Games
10,000
The goal of the game of 10,000 is to reach a score of 10,000 before your opponent. Play against three levels of computer opponent are provided: Apprentice, Mage and Wizard. Beat the Apprentice and Mage first consistently before working you way up to playing against the Wizard! Additionally, you may play against a friend. Remember, you can learn from the Wizard. Watch how the Wizard plays, when the Wizard take a chance or stays put, scores single fives or doesnt!
Categories for scoring are: straight, three pairs, three of a kind, a single one and a single five.
But, there are benefits and hazards along the way. Roll four twos and you lose all of your points! But, learn how best to continue rolling the dice when you have only one die remaining, and you can add on more points!
Poker Dice
The object of Poker Dice is to win the bet amount by rolling the highest hand. Scores are not kept for the three levels of computer player. The number of gold coins the Apprentice, Mage and Wizard have at the beginning of each play varies from 5,000 to 100,000. Players may quit the game and play again later, and their coin tally is saved from game to game. Similarly, players may play against a human opponent, then switch to play against a computer opponent, and, after a time, switch back to playing against the same initial human opponent. The number of coins held by that human opponent has been saved to be used in subsequent games. Up to ten players names and number of coins are saved.
Shut The Box
The object of Shut the Box is to try to close all nine boxes, or as many of the nine boxes as possible, to score the lowest score possible. One, two, three, or four boxes may be closed on each throw of the dice. The total of the numbers on the boxes closed must be equal to the total number of pips on the two dice.
