You cannot buy time, or give something in exchange for more time. The only thing to do is to manage your time more effectively. Link external files or web sites to a task to open with the click of a button. Tasks are colorcoded according to the status. Tasks can be broken down into sub tasks. Show only one days tasks at a time, that you can use as a daily list with all your tasks. Plan ahead, but work on one days tasks at a time.
Time and money are the most important resources. When you are in urgent need for money, you can still make a plan. See the bank manager for a loan, sell some assets. But with time it is not the same. You cannot buy time, or give something in exchange for more time. The only thing to do is to manage your time more effectively.
One big time waste is procrastination. Especially on larger tasks. If you are not planning these larger tasks you will start thinking and re thinking of what to start with. Instead of breaking down the task into smaller tasks, you think on what side to start with. Eventually when you get started a lot of time was wasted. Breaking down these larger tasks into smaller ones, and assign dates to them, ensure a good start. Completing these smaller tasks will motivate you to keep your daily list clean.
2Do2Day will not overwhelm you with all your tasks. Task that are not scheduled for today, will not appear on today's list. You will only see the things you have to do today. When you want to list a tasks a number of days prior to the due date, you can set 2do2day to do that. By setting the number of days to display prior to the due date. The item will be formatted differently from the other tasks. You can easily distinct between the color coded tasks. Overdue tasks appear in bold red bold red letters if it has not been started yet. Tasks that are displayed, but ahead from the due date will appear in black italic format.
