What Icons are Compatible with IconWorkshop?
With Axialis IconWorkshop, you can create, load and save all Windows Icons (ICO) and Icon Libraries (ICL). Now, it supports the new Windows XP Icons with Alpha Channel images (a.k.a. Smooth Transparency)

You can also export an icon image to Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro for modification preserving transparency. If you use to create graphics with Macromedia Freehand, creating an icon will be a childs play!
Furthermore, IconWorkshop includes an enhanced color swatch/palette system compatible with Adobe and Jasc color files.
Redistribute your icons
A new compilation feature permits you to create professional installation packages to redistribute your Icon Libraries (Corporate Edition only). It produces a compressed install program (the result is up to 70% smaller) convenient for Web distribution.
Also, an advanced system, based on activation codes, permits you to protect your Icon Libraries. The user will be prompted for a personal code to proceed with the installation. An activation code generator is also provided
Customize Windows Icons
A built-in feature permits you to customize many Windows icons. It works with all Windows version up to XP. This new version permits you to customize each folder icon individually.
A Powerful Built-in Librarian
A powerful built-in librarian let you easily manage all your image and icon files. This is a dockable window (which can be hidden) where you can store, move, copy and extract all the files youre using in your work (icons, libraries, image...). Very easy to use: Double click to open a file in a window, use Drag & Drop to add it in a library. And best of all, you can find a specific file using a powerful search feature. |
