PopMonger is a free but elegant tool to help you with mailing list management.
This very small program is easy to set up with any POP3 mailbox, and runs in the background.
It checks your POP mailbox and parses through the messages looking for delivery failures and requests to unsubscribe
for your mailing list.
When it finds a matching message, it adds the email address to its list and then deletes the message from your box. You can then check your mail, downloading
the rest of the messages for you to read.
You can set up popmonger to run in the background as a tray application, periodically checking
your mailbox and adding to the list as it goes.
Integrated with Mach5 Mailer, the list PopMonger produces can be used as an exclusion list
to indicate which addresses not to send to.
Apart from Mach5 Mailer, you can use the list to mark the email addresses in your database or mailing list.
PopMonger is so simple it does not need an installer. Just run it from any location. |
