This Internet search and retrieval software includes a Z39.50 based search engine that allows you to search hundreds of library catalogs simultaneously. The search engine supports full Boolean. It currently has several hundreds of libraries in the library database file that can be accessed via Internet. The database is expendable and you can add new libraries to it. It opens a window to global libraries!
MARC records can be retrieved, displayed, and printed. The powerful built-in MARC editor allows you to edit MARC records to meet your own needs. MARC records can also be exported and transferred to your library system. You get MARC records for free!
ZSearch is an ideal cataloging tool for any kinds of libraries. It is also a useful tool for all types of researchers, reference and interlibrary loan librarians.
ZSearch runs on IBM PCs and compatibles with at least 16 MB memory, 10 MB of free hard disk space, Windows 95/98/NT/2000, and an Internet connection.
The prices are $275 per copy and $995 for a 10 workstation license. |
