Fx Image Manager Description |
|
| |
With Fx Image Manager you can convert between various image types, resize, edit or modify image properties, capture a single frame or a range of frames from digital movies and quickly view supported image files anywhere on your system. Fx Image Manager, File menu on the main tool bar will provide you access to most of the essential tasks. You can of course access them directly from the tool bar buttons as well.
Your source file is an existing file containing an image that you want to save as another image file. During conversion, editing, resizing and other like operations your source file is read into memory and then during save the changed version in memory is written to disk without any effect on your source.
To open a source file you will use a common dialog or browse window as displayed below.
The drop down list captioned Files of type: is called a filter. You may filter the files that are displayed in the Open window. All File displays all supported image type as well as MPEG and AVI movies while the other three indexes filter out files of unlike types.
Clicking on any file in the Open list completes the text in the File name drop down list. Any other files in the drop down list are history.
Double clicking on a file in the list or single clicking the file and then pressing the Open button will select the file as your source.
Once you have selected your file the program will analyze it and display the width and height in pixels, the number of frames, the existing format, color depth, size on disk and run time in seconds if the file is a movie. |
