ArCon 5 Description |
|
| |
Architects at all levels have struggled for years to master powerful complex building design tools. These advanced tools required a lot of training and understanding.
The underlying problem was due to architects using powerful CAD tools, not designed for the purpose of building design. ArCon now resolves these problems by offering you the opportunity to use tools specifically designed to for the task of building design.
ArCon is available as ArCon 5 and ArCon+ 5 and ArCon+ 6.5. See ArCon feature list for a comparison of features.
ArCon 5 is not the best solution for professional use, as it is limited in features, that the ArCon+5 and ArCon+ 6.5 do possess. If you want to create drawings and 3D visualisations for professional use, then we recommend that you use ArCon+ 5 or ArCon+ 6.5. ArCon 5 however is an ideal solution for educational and personal use.
The intuitive set of icons lead you into the powerful features of ArCon. However ArCon employs an extensive context sensitive help to identify any icon that you are not sure of. ArCon employs multifunction icons that will expand according to the function. ArCon consists of 2 modes: Construction mode whereby you create your 2D plan and Design mode is where you can populate the building with objects and textures.
As with all good Window applications, ArCon uses easy to recognise icons which speeds up the learning curve. There is also a context sensitive help manual, allowing you to identify any acon at the click of a button. |
