How does Mobilefile work?
Mobilefile includes an application you load on your Internet-connected Palm Powered handheld and a component installed on your PC with a broadband Internet connection.
This desktop PC application, the Mobilefile Desktop, allows you to configure your UserID, password, and port access to allow your remote Palm OS device to connect directly to your desktop PC via TCP/IP and lets you browse the files in predesignated folders on your PC no matter where you are! You set up one folder to be the approved share and access folder and then you can drag files, copies of files, shortcuts to files, or shortcuts to folders into this primary share folder to enable access remotely. |
