As Jetman Jack you must travel the galaxy to find the missing gold left abandoned inside alien planets by the gold miners.
The gold was left when helper robots created by the miners started going crazy.
The game consists of two parts, The first part of the game involves you trying to land your space ship on the planet surface.
To do this you must navigate your spaceship down towards the planet surface and find the landing pad. If you are a long way off the landing pad, Small arrows will be shown at the bottom of the screen indicating where the landing pad is located.
Use your left and right keys to thrust your spaceship horizontally towards the Pad. On the left hand side of the navigation screen is shown your rate of descent, You must ensure your rate of descent is within the 2 indicator bars shown.
Use the up control key to control your descent and blast upwards if you are coming down too fast. On the right hand side of the navigation screen is shown the distance you are vertically from the planet surface. Watch out for dust clouds on the surface as these will blow you off course.
There is also an autopilot available if you are finding it hard to land. The button at the top of the screen Enables and Disables the autopilot. If you do decide to use the autopilot you wont receive any bonus for landing.
Once you have landed successfully you will move onto the second part of the game.
Helping Jack to find the missing Gold.
This involves you guiding Jack through Gold Mines located inside each planet. You will be beamed inside the planet from your spaceship.
You must then guide Jack around the caves to find the missing Gold. At the top of the screen is displayed the number of Gold bars you must find and the current number you have collected.
The controls for flying Jack are the same as when you flew the landing craft, except jack can also walk along the ground. |
