The year is 2200AD.
Space travel has become commonplace and it is peaceful throughout earth and its solar system.
Recently though a secret coded message from a far off planet has been intercepted on Earth, When the message was decoded it revealed information about an alien race called the DIGLYITES who are planning a mass invasion of Earth and the surrounding planets.
The message also reveals that the Alien Spaceships are powered by Trycium energy crystals (A potent power source discovered in the year 2100AD), With every ship being powered by five of these crystals.
Earths only hope of survival is to immobilise the spaceships by somehow destroying this power source. This is where your mission begins.
Your nickname is Space Pirate given to you by the people of Earth for your exploits around the Galaxy who have also labelled you as Earths leading authority on Alien Technology.
You are the only person who can save Earth!
Using your trusty Space Shuttle and expert team you will get as close as possible to the Alien ships undetected and then transport over to them.
From the time you enter each Spaceship you only have a limited amount of energy to capture all the energy crystals , so there is no time to spare.
Unfortunately things are made worse because there is no lighting on the spaceships, This is because the aliens do not see like humans and have no need for light.
The only way for you to see is by using the Infra Red Glasses you have transported with, these automatically activate when entering a ship and illuminate a small area in front of you.
While your your transporter beam is enabled you will be able to see the whole area around you, Also at any time you can use one of the 3 flares you have in your possession to light up the surrounding area temporarily.
To release a flare press the flare button.
(You can user define the keys from the programs menu if you dont like the predefined arrangement)
You can also view a map which will display your position with a view of all the areas on the spaceship you have visited.
The map will also show the location of the energy crystals and where keys for opening locked doors are held.
To display the map press the Map Key. |
