SelfImage Description |
|
| |
SelfImage is a disk imaging program for Windows. It's capable of making an image file of any hard disk or partition on your system. When run on Windows 2000/XP, it can even make images of partitions that Windows doesn't recognize or assign a drive letter to (ie: Linux partitions). Perfect for the dual-boot system.
SelfImage is capable of on-the-fly gzip & bzip2 compression. It even uses the parallel processing capabilities of today's fastest hyperthreading, SMP, and dual-core systems to significantly accelerate the process.
Images produced with SelfImage are compatible with other operating systems. They can be restored from Linux or FreeBSD, or you can use SelfImage itself to restore an image back to any drive or partition that doesn''t have open files. |
