EMCO Remote Shutdown is a machine shutdown utility. It allows you to scan a LAN for available machines with just one click. EMCO Remote Shutdown has the following features:
Scanning a LAN for machine information Saving LAN information in separate files Defining shutdown jobs for any/all machines Defining shutdown actions Edit shutdown actions Send custom message to remote machines Schedule actions to be executed at intervals LogOff/PowerOff support via a WMI call
The main features of Remote Shutdown 3.0 are described below: Enumerate LAN – One of the main functions of EMCO Remote Shutdown is to scan a LAN for all available machines.
Enumerate LAN via IP Name - Opens a filter window that allows you to choose the required network provider and domain, a range of IP addresses for new machines, and a list of specific IP addresses to ignore. Enumerate LAN for all machines – This allows you to automatically scan your network for all available machines on your network with just one click.
Add Machines Manually – This allows you add machines manually by providing their network type, domain/workgroup name and machine name. Ping all machines in the Machines Queue - You can ping all machines in the Machine queue to check the connectivity of those machines.
Send Custom message to remote machine – Remote shutdown allows you to send a custom message to the remote machines before performing shutdown action.
Saving Scan data to a file - You can save the scanned data of machines to a Enum file on your hard disk. |
