Relay Server Description |
|
| |
You can configure the relay server with multiple relays. Each relay has the following properties
Relay Name (a user friendly description) Listener Port (the port on the local computer) Host Address (the destination ip address/host name) Host Port (the destination port) The clients then configure the client network application that needs to connect to the destination computer to use the relay server ip address on the configured relay port. The Relay Server then relays the client request to the destination server transparently to the client. The Relay Server can be configured to run multiple relays and each relay can accept connections from mutliple clients. The limitations is as follows :
Each relay has to use a different Listener Port. The client network applications have to support using a different port or the Listener Port has to match the client network applications default port. |
